Doing damage

I'm not really sure what I was thinking when I took this a few weeks ago. You'd think that after dabbling in photography for the better part of 30 years I'd know better than to shoot right into the sun. I don't recall the moment I shot this, but my only guess is that the sun was, in fact, obscured by the clouds as I was driving.

In any case, the next image paid the price. The sky had a nice glow to it, but I think the sun image was still burned in somehow. Thankfully, this was the only image affected, and I've learned my lesson.

The first two are from the car on the way into work. Pulled up next to a trash hauler and just liked the way it looked.
