Shooting people

This is one that certainly needs some loving care in the darkroom, but I only have the time to drop it off for a machine print for the time being.

I'm not one to shoot people, never have been. I guess I view it as an invasion of some sort - I don't really want to be the subject of some stranger's lens, nor do I want to hover over someone's suffering. That said, when a guy comes up and offers to sell you a "Support the Troops" poster for a buck, a door is opened. I passed on the poster, but gave the guy a dollar to take the photo.

What Says L.A. More...

... than palm trees, crystal clear skies and a helicopter buzzing low overhead?

I've been waiting to get some more black and white film back from processing, and in the meantime have been considering the palate here - a bit heavy on the gray, so I'm going to try to shoot more color in the coming weeks to offer a different perspective (and liven things up a bit).
